Located in the Serres region, Lake Kerkini is one of Greece’s most important NATURA-protected wetlands, famous for its rich wildlife - including pelicans, herons, cormorants, ducks, and flamingos that fill the skies and waters with color and life.
The road curves through olive groves and autumn trees in tones of orange, green, and gold, leading toward the Lithotopos Dam, while the opposite side opens to bird-watching paths and quiet fishing spots by the lake...
